'There's no shortage of domain ‘education’ out there, I'm fully aware of that.
Courses, guides, academies - though the majority, selling the same recycled formula: chase keywords, check search volume, follow the data, rinse, repeat... (
)
Keywords have value, of course they do - and we build on them in-house, but as for 'education' - it's comfortable. It's teachable. And it produces a thousand people all fishing in the same pond with the same bait...
That's not education... that's duplication.
At DomainPros, I (soon we) want to take a different approach. I (soon we) won't hand you a 'playbook' - I (soon we) will help you develop a perspective...
Because the truth of the matter is: there is no universal strategy.
The proof has been in the pudding for us, in-house
.
Precision requires context. Context requires understanding. Understanding requires breadth and exposure to different angles, different industries, different ways of thinking about 'value'.
I hold respect that domain investment is not a single game. It's dozens of games, each with different rules, different players, and different definitions of 'success.' Critically, one thing you will find with me is that I listen, as 'education' is an ever-learning process.
What I (and soon we) offer isn't a formula. It's a framework for thinking - and the freedom to apply it your way and supporting the confidence to do so...
Innovation doesn't come from following.
It comes from seeing what others don't.'
