I became aware of this forum through another UK domains forum.

I am a professional software engineer (UK Chartered Engineer) with many decades experience, and since 1999 all Internet-related.

I have a fairly small portfolio of hand-registered domains - some connected with previous businesses, some for "potential" website development and others are bought to resell.

I don't have my own Nominet tag.

We are still in the early stages and not officially in full swing.

I like the fact you are a hand-registered kind of guy as I am not very keen on the drop-catch system and quite a few of those involved. I would go as far as saying we would like to see Nominet ban drop-catching altogether. We will certainly be making our position very clear soon enough and lobbying for an outright ban.

We are a pro-UK business forum and use domain names for that purpose.
